question bout dry rock?

i just bought a nice setup off a member, and it came with sum marco dry rock he had the tank filled with freshwater to do a leak test, and it looks like the rocks have been in water for awhile, theres a very lil green algae or mold growing on them, i wont be setting the tank up for a few weeks and was wondering what i should do, should i let them completely dry out or just start soaking them in saltwater, should i worry bout the green stuff or not? should i boil them? thanks in advance..

put them out in the sun until you are ready. They'll be nice and white again in no time.

I would let them dry out. I would just cycle them with the tank and sand when the time comes.

I put mine in a box in garage and the heat alone turned the bone white surprised but it worked
