I'll be using this for my 29 gallon biocube.. Just wanna say thnks to nino for refugium.. Any advice would be appreciated..

Get a low flowing pump, somewhere in the ~400gph range, you can have a DSB and macro algea aswell.A nice slow steady flow thru it will be best.HTH.

I just need one pump correct.. i dnt need to put a powerhead or what not.. and i can probably use it as a copepod breading ground correct? I'll post a pic of it so u guys can have a better idea of what i have.. thanks badgus..

Heres how my HOB Refugium looks like.. just a picture i got.lol Was wondering would it be possible to put a protein skimmer in it?

thanks
jeff

my thought was putting a hydor mini skimmer.. was wondering what your thoughts are on that or do u have an alternative skimmer i can use

thanks nino.. gonna look into that.. thank god aquacave is just dwn the street from me.lol

Yeah, I know someone who had a tunze 9002 in that same refugium, just can put sand in it because the skimmer has to be in the main section. Just put rubble and chaeto and seed with pods and your okay.

I had one of these on my 24g, had tons of little critters. I used reef mud instead of sand.

Might set mine up again because it also increases the water volume by another 2-3 gallons.
