how often do u have to change membrane. mine will be 2yrs old in december. changed all other filters every 12 months. tds meter says 140 going in and use to be 002 coming out now says 024 and goes up and down or could it be the di resin its 6 stage 150gpd never changed resin system be 2 yrs in december too

I think IMO it depends on you. I've heard many people change it like clock work. Many don't want any trace of anything. But just keep an eye on you tank. If things aren't looking happy or corals closing then u might wanna think of changing em out. If you start to have a lot of algae growth then test stuff and consider changing it.

i am getting little more algae growth corals r happy no issues there i just was wondering if the higher ppm would be because of resin or membrain. i was told one time it depends on the ppm going in and how much u use it . but that came from people who dont even use r/o so dont trust info 100% lol. being my first r/o system dont know the changing schedule i should be on

I'm no expert myself. Just saying compared to how I will decide when I feel it's time to change mine. Also you gotta figure there are some that do tap water only and the tds is going to be higher then what ur testing and they have good experience using tap water

Your DI resin is exhausted. Check the output of the membrane. If the % difference between the tap water and the product water matches the rejection rating of the membrane then your membrane is still good.
