Finally got a decent SLR camera and this is my attempt of using it. Not quite there yet but I know it can take better pictures with the proper settings which I am still trying to figure out. All of these are with auto.

Here are some more pictures! I still can't figure out how to take pictures of moving objects while following them with my camera. I was trying to get a few pictures of my fish and its impossible following them and keeping focus. The tank pictures were taken under actinics.

I use the manual focus when trying to shoot moving things. It may take some practice but the picture turn out better.

You could also set up on a tripod and wait for the fish to come in to view.

For moving put the camera in sports motion. It looks like a person running. Get somewhat in focus of the fish and push the button to take pictures and maintain in pushed it takes consecutive shots till you let go. You'll eventually get one.
