Really great forum!

I have only been here a few days, and I can already tell there is a closeness within members. It's nice to have a local forum. Pretty cool in my book! I have kept FOWLR in the past (multi large angel species, tangs, triggers) in a 180. I had the tank running successfully for 2 years with no losses, until I decided to add another fish and crashed the tank. I gave up and moved onto breeding boa constrictor morphs. Well, my kids are getting older and have picked up interest in marine biology. I am setting up dual 40b reefs, linked to a 50 gallon sump with a massive algae scrubber. Daughter wants to breed clowns and my son is really interested in wartskin anglers (which is why I am desperately trying to get my hands on one right now!). While I'm at it, I am going to try applying a few tricks of the boa breeding trade, to induce spawning (hopefully on command) in a handful of unsuccessfully captive bred species. Hydrostatic pressure, what? Well, I am glad to be here.

P.S. If anyone has any questions related to photography, feel free to PM me. I will do my best to answer questions in that forum as I see them.

Welcome to the group!! We're like a family and have keys to each other's home. Great group of people here!

Be sure to get that build thread started and come over and teach me how to snap pics of my tank under my LEDs. :dancing:

Welcome!! I am fairly new to reefing myself. I've had my tank up for about two months. I've kept saltwater fish only in the past but have kept freshwater for about 30 years.

I think you'll find everyone on here to be very helpful and encouraging. I also have been amazed at the closeness of the group. Great group of people on here.
