So i replaced my 2 250 mh for some led's about 3 weeks ago. My anemones were a bright red color and now they are turning a light pink color, im running the whites at 35% and the blues at 60%. Any ideas?

Different color spectrum. They also morph depending on where they are in the tank. I got 2 nems recently from a local reefer. She had 50+ all clones of the same mother. Some were red, some pink, orange, rainbow, etc. they are ALL E. quadricolor. You can play around with the spectrum a bit if you want, but chances are, you're looking at your happy new pink nem.

Just make sure it's turning pink and not bleaching out. If you start to see it going transparent then you need more light.

They look beautiful. I like them better pink. Also the tentacles are bubbling again. I have like 10 all clone from the same mother. I will keep an eye on them though, thank you ted.

It should not be bleaching after only a few weeks if it is consistently under lighting...much more likely to be a spectrum color shift as Ted mentioned...
Be watchful of them going into hiding which would be a sign of too much light...

GL ;)

They don't open up as much as before with the halides. But they look healthy just different color. Nice monti frags craig, i would like to buy one.

Both are currently pending but I can make another frag if you seriously want one...please pm me if you are...;)

As for the nems, keep as close eye on them...changing lights without proper acclimation can cause issues with any coral...
