red bugs how to treat them

On the piece you got from me? I just looked over all the frags on my rack and everything looks ok in my tank, just Copepods running around on the frag plugs and glass. Gave me a good scare when you said you saw them on the valida.
 
You might want to contact Bryman on where to get some.. He just dosed his tank few weeks ago with great results. Red bugs are not fun!!
 
no fish i dont know where i got the bugs from i just noticed more on other acros man not fun for me . how to treat that with interceptor ???? how much how long i know i have to pull out my snails crabs shrimps and what else should i know?????
 
I've never had to use it, I have nothing to contribute on use. I do know you'll need to sweet talk your local veterinarian to prescribe you a single dose, and that should be good for a couple hundred gallons of water.
 
I just had a thread on this topic last week called "interceptor". I know my lfs (aquatica) sells a single pill for $20 bucks. Good luck with everything.
 
as a dip only otherwise it will wipe out your pods, crabs but after the treat no signs of red ot flats in tank not like with interceptor many people after use interceptor had problem with AEFW . that why i will dipp all acros today with bayer
 
I hope you arent doing more harm than good with that bayer stuff. I am curious thou, if you have redbugs in your tank, what good is dipping going to do outside the tank? Wont the ones in the tank that arent on your acros just rebuild their population?
 
I have dosed the interceptor and did not have a problem with AEFW. I lost a few crabs and both of my cleaner shrimp, but it was well worth it to knock out the red bugs.
