(Red) Dragon Slayer

No, I'm not a communist..
Well, I lost my CITR Red Dragon colony. It was about 5" across....

I have a couple of very small frags that I hope will make it but it isn't promising. It's days like this when I feel like throwing in the towel...

I believe I screwed up dosing vinegar since alk is stable and temp only swings 2-3 degrees per day.

Oh dam. That sucks it looked so good last time i was there. That stuff way to sensitive. Sorry for u lose man.

Eric, sorry for the lost. Can you let someone near by keep the small frag for you? I keep one small frag in another tank and lost the big one last time now I still have the small one and it's growing real good now.

Eric,

The frag I got from you a few months ago is doing really well in my tank. It's probably tripled in size. I'll look at it when I get home and see if I can make a frag of it for you if you'd like. Then you know you have exactly the same one again.

Ouch; it's never fun loosing coral, let alone an LE Colony... Your tank still looks awesome, though, I'm sure, and the frags of it will become a colony anew. I have faith in you. :)

That would be ideal, thanks!!!!! I'm going to let the tank stabilize for a period before adding anything new.

Mai, I got my original frag from you. Glad to see it's still around :) I have 1 small 1/2" piece that might make it. Fingers crossed....

cheer up bucky... I lost my whole tank ... fish and many corals cuz of mother f ing xenia poisoning ... if everything always went right this hobby would be boring... its the thrill of keeping the stuff that is hard... cuz if that wasn't the case this would be called Chicago freshwater tanks or something like that .... its all good you have people that care ... so don't throw in the towel bro and keep your chin up we all been there :)
