What do guys use when dosing your reefs tanks? Frequency? I been using Reef Snow, Liquid Reef and Rod's Reef.

When you say supplement you mean additives like Calc, Alk, Mag right? Looks to me like you are providing food sources more then dosing.

Information about what and how corals eat in nature, what kinds of foods different types of corals should be fed in captivity, and which nutritional supplements or additives are required in their diets to allow them to grow and prosper in reef aquariums.

dosing anything depends on tank size, stocking level and livestock. softies/lps shouldnt need anything, lots of stonies dose cal, alk, mag. You dose based on consumption. Dont dose any chemical unless you are measuring for it. i wouldn't really call the others dosing, but feeding/suppliments like reef snow, aminos, or other foods. Some people also dose potassium and strontium, but their uptake is less, and their utilization mechanism is less well understood.

Reef Snow has been been proven to be total garbage, adds nitrate to your system & a waste of $$$.

I'd be dosing Ca, alk & Mg for LPS too though, they have a skeleton. I also dose vitamin C.

light lps water changes are usually sufficent, if heavily stocked i would agree to dose 2 part. Vitamin C doesnt do anything, reef snow depends on the brand, most are just cal carb which creates feeding response. The TLF version is one of the better ones, but even that you can overdose, same as any food, over feed and creates phos/nitrate.
