Rock layout advice please

Ok I'm having trouble deciding between two rock layouts

1. I like the balance between rock and water and I have a chance to get a plate coral or a clam if I want to

2. This kinda looks cluttered(added a big piece of rock on right side ) but would give me more place to stick my sps and zoas as higher they are they get more light

Which one should I go with ??

I like the second one more. you keep adding corals to the tank and this way you have more coral space

+1. That huge peice is really messing up your feng shui and chi.

I thnk what u need to do tin is upgrade ur tank... U need and deserve more space ;p

problem solved ... i tried to chisel the bigger rock to attain a more artistic shape and well it broke into two very ugly pieces ..so back to initial design but changed the placement of few corals

and oh yea i got a blue sps

ill update with pics once all the mess has settled and i change the water

Tin, I would bust up some of the rock so you have more flxibility on placement.

Nope, the left rock as in the huge boulder in the left/front of the tank!

I'd remove those frags off the plugs & glue directly to the rock. Looks more natural.

Heh,well, now that you're all done, it looks nice. For what its worth, I'm in the minority here, I liked the first picture anyhow.
