Rock rework

So I'm really thinking of redoing my rock.
Some questions
Once I do that will my levels spike because of things being stirred around?
Am I going to piss off my corals enough that they start to wither?
The rock I take out, should I have a bucket of freshly made sw to put it into till it goes back in or will it be fine to sit out of water till its time to go back in?
I'll add more q's if I think of them.

If you have a deep sandbed, then you might create problems moving the base-rock. If not, you'll cloud up your water a bit, which isn't a big deal. Just go very slow moving the base rock to minimize the disruption. I've done this many time before and never saw any adverse reactions with my coral. You don't need to store the LR in water while you re-scape. Just leave it in a bucket or a bin and it will stay alive for at least 24 hours.

Thanks etr. That's good to know it will be ok out of water for minimal time. I'm not sure the sand depth. The tank has been up since I think march, would there be enough build up I the sand to cause issues stirring it up after this few amount of months?

IMO, I move a few at a time if changing the top layer.

But I will do a WC afterwards if it was me.

Thanks prob will plan on wc right afterwards. I'm wanting to lower some areas and make a little more sand space so some of the bottom plain looking rocks are going to be coming out.
