90 GALLON MIX REEF

Have been using Coralife Marine Salt last 1 1/2 or so but wanted to see what others opinions were out there about it and other brand around the same price range for reef tanks

i also should say i do supplemnt with kalk+2 and do biweekly water changes of about 15 to 20 gallons

Thanks

I loved Red Sea Coral Pro. Really reduces the amount of dosing you have to do. high calcium, high alk, and boosted with extra trace minerals. I think a 170g bucket was like $60 on BRS.

Crystal Sea works really well for me. It mixes really easy and does the job. I bought a whole bunch from Total Pets Plus and got a great deal. You can expect to pay anywhere from 29.99-34.99 for a 150 gallon box, cheaper if you buy in bulk like I did.

i use reef crystals switched to crystal sea and to low in mag for me went back to reef crystals for the reef and the cheap stuff for the fish only

Oceanic 500 ppm on Ca, Alk 10.2 Dkh and Mag 1400ppm. 125 gallons for $29.99

Wow that is a really good price a few cents cheaper per gallon then the 6g bucket. Any discounts if I buy in bulk. I also feel like I am the only one that uses this salt (5years now). I quit using it for a while when dfs quit caring it but now I order from petsolutions. I would love to buy from a lfs but not many close to me lol

I have the same problem I think it's the moisture in the air and the bucket doesn't seal right

Yea it is sucks chiseling salt lol i dont have garage it sat in hoise on carpet still like a rock other then packaging great salt but rather get the seperate bags

Dave we discount it on 5 lots 10% & 10 or more 20%. I have never seen it clump unless its gotten wet. It a micro grain salt almost like flour, it mixes very easily.
