Just ran out of reef crystals. I have a reef with mostly softies and lps. I currently don't dose and use my bi-weekly water changes to keep my params in order. There are lots of new salts and I was curious what the favorites are.

I use Salinity, but you are probably fine with RC for a tank full of LPS.

I've been using the Fluval salt. It mixes well and I tested it for ph, dkh, calcium, nitrite, ammonia, nitrate, and magnesium and it matches what they claim.

Instant Ocean is what I use. It's also what the Shedd uses, even for its reef system.

Salinity here, but I agree with Walt that you will probably be fine with a cheaper salt.

Red Sea Pro Coral for me. Although I do know quite a few reefers who use IO that way they can adjust the Ca and Alk to whatever they need.

I think because I'm not dosing I will stick to reef crystals. I never had a problem just wondered if something was better
