Hey guys putting a new build together and need about 50 lbs of sand don't want to break the bank any hardware stores sell Sand I could use that won't turn into a problem due to silica any info will help

I have used pool filter sand in freshwater tanks for years with no problems. Never tried it in a saltwater tank but I would think it should be safe.

Don't use play sand or whatever junk they sell at a hardware store! I got a new 40lb bag live sand. Lmk
