santa monica turf scrubbers

Iv been looking at adding a turf scrubber to the tank and was wondering if anyone has tried the Santa Monica turf scrubber.

I like the idea of not having to run another water pump. I was looking at either the HOG1.3 Hang-On-Glass unit or the SURF2 or SURF2x floating surface Ribbon Scrubber?

What are your thoughts?

I have a Hog 2 and like it, but you could make one for a lot less money...just comes down to time vs money.

That said, it really is nice construction and has all the "design tweaks" are already figured out.
