Rest in peace my dear friend. I will always remember the kindness you have shown me and others. You are finally free of pain. I will continue to pray that your wife, children, and grandchildren can someday find comfort knowing that you are in heaven and are free from pain.

Although it's not the same thing, but I have a slight understanding...my maternal grandad has been battling stage 4 cancer for some time now, and I just found out 2 months ago...I'm fearing the inevitable. I truly feel sick over this.

It is very tough to watch anyone go through cancer. I nearly lost my 48 year old brother last year, luckily he made it. Scott was only 51 years old. Much too young!

What a shame. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.. godspeed brother.. No family deserves to lose somebody at a younger age, RIP fellow reefer.

Most faithful God, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Your servant Scott suffered greatly, but placed his trust in Your mercy. Confident that the petition of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, we beg You, give rest to Scott. Do not remember his sins, but look upon his sufferings and grant him refreshment, light, and peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Such a tragedy to pass at such a young age and leave behind a wife and kids. Thankfully his suffering is over.

Liver cancer is nearly impossible to beat, lost my dad to it at only 66. At least his suffering is over. RIP Scott...

May he rest in peace. We all know he's in a better place now.
