Scroll saw to frag?

Anyone ever tried a scroll saw to cut LPS?

I really don't ant to buy a diamond blade wet band saw. But I have a scroll saw here with regular and 360* cutting blades. It's used to make very small intricate designs in wood so very little material is cut from blade thickness, and with a 360 blade u can cut in any direction. So cutting single polyps off my Acans would be very easy.

Just not sure if it would heat up too much compared to a band saw.

Basically this without the guard on. Plus it has a constant stream of air to clear dust ect. Was thinking maybe that would help keep it cooler.

Water is an absolute must when cutting corals. If you want to, I have a wet band saw, and I'd me more than happy to cut stuff for you whenever you could swing by. :)

Sounds great. If only u wernt 2 hrs away. Lol
I have not fragged any LPS without a bandsaw but I don't have access to it anymore. Maybe time to go buy one.

You don't want the tissue to heat up... That's why u need the water... And make sure it's a real sharp blade... U dont want to rip flesh, u want clean cuts.
