Scuba Classes & Equipment Discount

This is who I got certified through! "T" was a great instructor. He gets a little finicky if you don't buy your gear from him (I bought mine online - much cheaper). And yes, scuba gear bought via authorized internet outlets do carry a full manufactures warranty, don't let others tell you otherwise.

Scuba

Actually SCUBA Equipment does not carry a manufacturers warranty. I am a Divemaster with a local SCUBA shop and anything that is brought in we will not touch as it now makes that shop liable for any defects.....Just buy your stuff at the shop where the professionals can help you choose the right equipment for you.....REMEMBER BLake this is LIVE SUSTAINING EQUIPMENT!!!!(you really want to buy your life support system online?)

Sorry Eric....but nothing frosts my *** more than someone coming in to our shop and complaining how it doesnt fit, it doesnt work....ect,ect.....then tthey expect us to fix it and get mad when we charge them for it.....I just had a guy almost leave for a dive vaction for his honeymoon with the wrong hose on his regulator....would have made his wife the fastest widow on record.

Before you buy please seek professional advice....Just call me or PM me if you have any questions I will answer what I can and refer you if I cannot.

Absolutely not true. This is typical local dive shop talk where they want you to buy locally and not online where prices are cheaper because of the lower overhead. This is the same argument with Local Fish Sore, just different product. I don't want to be a flame battle, but I have manufactures reference where warranties and free service parts (some manufactures offer) ARE VALID when purchased from authorized internet stores - non-authorized or eBay would be another story.

If it's the something, by an manufacture authorized outlet. Why not? As long as you know what you are buying it doesn't matter where you buy it from.

Of course he should of been charged! haha, that was his own mistake and if someone is to bring equipment in to be serviced that is not covered under a warranty then they should dam well expect to be charged.

Couldn't agree more. Research, ask, try stuff on... etc. There are tons of resources and people to lean on.
