We've had a hair algae problem since moving the tank six months ago. Our sea hare (Shrek) was doing a fine job of mowing but last night he decided he couldn't take it anymore and stuck his head in a power intake. I woke up a really nasty sight of the body hanging out with a bunch of poop and a golf ball size slime matter ball that I was able to net out of the tank...hopefully one of the local store's have one in stock! I guess this was just a warning post to anyone out there who is running a powerhead without a guard/sceen on it to keep something like this from happening...RIP Shrek!
