Getting a tank ready to set up for sea horses , so far the only thing i've been told has been to run very lil flow in this tank/set-up ...thanks
That's pretty much all you need to know about them. Make sure you have decent filtration or good husbandry skills, because all the feedings will pollute the water pretty quick. They also don't like bright lights much neither. I have the H. Erectus breed, and they're pretty active.I have done seahorses before and can list the very basics that I learned... Low flow, no competition for food, lots of hitching places, a feeding station for them to snick food out of, low temps (and some downright ridiculously based on species). Also, they don't particularly swim horizontal that much so a vertical tank is better than a long tank. On top of that only buy captive bred horses that are trained on frozen foods, otherwise you are going to be raising lots of live food.

I'm not gonna lie to you, they are a bit challenging. They require a lot of time and attention. But they are rewarding.Sea horses are difficult I heard
