So I figured Id share my experience. I have had a purple sea urchin for about 7 years now. It loses all of its spikes every 9 months or so. Its very active and healthy. Just today I googled why it happens. I learned that its starving or salinity is swinging. That doesn't seem the case. Whats everyone's opinion.
