see something on my chalice

so was wondering if these white spots looks like something is picking at my chalice i havent seen anything but i still need to get 1 more hermit out hes been hiding
 
so after talkin with my buddy and noticing my duncan was a lil messed up im thinkin it was my coral banded shrimp but would like some more input
 
Idk i never seen shrimp eating coral unless it was dieing what fish or waht else u have in u tank
 
a clown a snails had hermits in there until today other than that couple of zoa frags a chalice and some mushrooms nothing close enough to sting either of them i found some aiptasia on my lr
 
Well duncan definitly looks like somwthing munching.must be shrimp clown wont eat ive seen em kill corals by hosting em and rubbing em to much but not eat .
 
well the spot all the way to the left on the chalice is now an eye and the tents on the duncan look repaired wtf
 
I think it was the coral banded shrimp knew he messed up and was about to become gumbo... and decided to fix his mess and while you were sleeping fixed the broken corals
 
so i starting to think mabe this chalice isnt getting enough light.. i was talk to dd last night he said mabe to much light but it seams like the parts that r dying were up against the rock with the other rock over it if u look at the other pics i moved it to the SB so we'll see what happens but heres a pic as of today

That's the one thing I hate about chalices. I find it really tough to find the right spot for them. You put them in too much light, they start to recede, you put the in not enough light, they recede. It's a guessing game with them, but then again, it's pretty much the same with nearly all corals.

yea well part of the hobby... like the name change killer lol
