Who's had a shortspine rock boring urchin in their tank? Any horror stories of swiss cheese rock, harm to other tank inhabitants, or other problems?

I'm specifically looking for the shortspine (Echinometra sp.) species of the urchins, not long spined or pincushion urchins. Here's a link to LA;

I'm trying to find a sustainable solution to control bubble algae in my small anemone tank. From all the reading, The rock boring may be one of my best options to compliment manual removal. One such article; http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-02/hcj/feature/

Thanks for your help :D

Some reef tank experience with them, mostly positive results.

I had one for awhile. Sadly it died when I was swapping it from my 30 to my old 58. I didn't have any problems. Then again, I didn't have very much success with coral back then (2-3 years ago). Was a really cool urchin and mowed down algae!

Thank you. That's what I'm looking for, a mowing machine. :D
