ShoTanks Today

Was at ShoTanks today just to browse and saw some beautiful fish! Granted, they need large systems, but Matt's got a Majestic Angel whose colors are just insanely vibrant. Very energetic fish too - I couldn't get a good shot of it. He also had this snapper, which really caught my eye, and of course other nice fish, but those two were impressive, so I thought I'd share. Well, wanted to share the Majestic Angel, but oh well. This guy is neat though!

Also - sorry, I did not see any green or pink tipped BTAs, or any candy hogs for those looking!

I just texted you the leopard wrasse that he has in too! I figured I wouldn't share those pictures just yet, lol - just in case!

LOL, too true Joe - there are so many gorgeous fish!

Mai - the fish in the photo is a snapper of some sort - big guy, but had these beautiful trailers and colors.

Jeff - He had some cool 'nems, no BTAs, but a couple long tentacled ones, not sure their exact species, some rock flowers (but we're all waiting for a different set of those guys!), I think he has a couple mini/maxis, and he had a nice condy too, pink or purple tips. Not sure on the gobies, they don't really excite me, so I never pay too much attention to them. He did have a few different types in though.

Will - Why doesn't this surprise me! Your tanks look great though, every time I go through ShoTanks I always think of asking you for one, lol - but I'm still waiting for my new cube to get out of its ugly stage! So... not just yet, lol.

Yuriy - Yeah, those Bartlett's Anthias are amazing, beautiful fish and great colors! I've heard they prefer some of their own, so the school of them would be a good buy!

That's a snapper :) The Angel was amazing, but it kept swimming too quickly for me to get a decent picture! I think I have an orange blob turning, lol... let me find it...

The fish in the first picture is a threadfin snapper! (had to google for a bit to find the right name!)

I bought the larger of the two Longnose Hawkfish yesterday. He had a really nice Copperband too, might have been from last week's shipment. The big Bourb and Squareback Anthias were still there.

Yeah, the hawkfish looked pretty cool - actually a lot of his fish looked pretty good! Glad you picked out some cool ones, hope they do well!
