Hi everyone quick question.Should i do my first water change ? i think my tanked cycled its been up for three weeks already had my diatom bloom which was not that bad here are my latest water results AMO-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrate 5ppm ph- 8.0.

I used to do a large/50% WC at this point but I know reefers that just start adding livestock. It's up to you.

I see no need in doing a water change, it won't hurt, but your Nitrates are low enough right now it isn't necessary. I would slowly throw some livestock in there and see how it goes. Your tank can now process whatever Ammonia it had, but that doesn't mean it can process more. It basically chases it as the tank matures. You will still have ammonia build up as the tank starts to see some waste, but the bacteria should reach an equilibrium as you go.

To me, water changes too early just complicate things.
