Finally have got the money to get this tank on the road to success! Just a few more parts and we are good for lift off!

Im going to paint my brother's prehistoric star wallpaper black and also, and try and get a few accent lights above the tank, so i dont have to have my other lights on causing the horrible reflections and glares you see here... all in all, this pic sucks View attachment 13021

Anyways, basically there is a central overflow with a 2" hole and a 1-1/2" hole. With the bulk heads the drain is 1" and the return is 3/4"

So i also have the return pump and pvc to glue to the bulkheads so when the flex pipe and clamps come in, all i need to do is clamp and go.. View attachment 13022

But,,, where should i get said clamps, and what size flex pipe/ material?

My first gorg! Already opened up! that hanging branch was snapped but still attached so I will probably cut and glue somewhere else! View attachment 13729

And honestly, I;m contemplating whether or not to do a peacock mantis if at all. I sorta want to go with some sticks and stones and some cool fish as they will be easier to pawn off in a few months when I hop up to college!

Ps there are 6 green chromes in there for some movement!

Im thinking things like pistol shrimp/goby and pygmy wrasse, and barnicle blenny, alot of small fish instead of one or two larger specimen.. chalk bassets are on the list for sure
