Shrimp

Thinking about getting a couple peppermint shrimp tomorrow and possibly a cleaner shrimp or two. Am I asking for trouble? I need the peppermints for aiptasia. Any advice helps thanks

Usually, the cleaners will leave the peppermints alone. It's the cb shrimps you have to worry about and watch.

Yeah, you should be fine....Just try to have lots of hiding spots/rocks for them.

I got four peppermint's for a couple of aptasia and they never touched them. some do and some don't.

fwiw, I have three Peppermints and a Blood shrimp in my 40B and they stay away from each other without issue....
AP, Underwater World and Xzotic all have shrimps available at good prices...

My two cents on this..... if you want peppermint shrimp for aptaia help, look for morrocan ones.

I never had luck until someone told me to find a morrocan pepermint shrimp. A few google searches showed people having success with that type. I got one a year ago and haven't seen an aptasia since.
