I have a chance to get in on a group buy for Sig 556 Classic or SWAT models The classic $995 and the SWAT is $1,104.25. Anyone have an opinion on the piece or the price?

you should pick up the Sig 556 swat.
also since most ar-15s are on back order at alot of places. most of the used ones are going above retail.
 
I just went to bass pro to cross reference this deal and they went crazy telling me how it will be months and months before they get ANY 5.56 in stock. I am definitely doing this. If anyone is seriously interested PM me for more info but I'd need PayPal by tomorrow. Looks like Herbie got lucky again.
 
Time for me to move, I went to Wal Mart tonight to get string, it was funny how empty the ammo case was. lol
 
I just won a hk 5.56 in a raffle with dated serial number super nice assualt rifle can't wait to pick it up will go nice in my collection

Yep, my cuz out west picked up 2 AR's a couple months ago and flipped 1 of them for 4X what he paid. People are being stupid. Personally, I'd never want an AR (or similar) that I originally purchased in anyone else's hands.

if you use gunbroker.com to sell a firearm they do a full FFL transfer. A little more expensive, but I agree abouut serial numbers being tied to SSN.
