Size bulkhead for 45g cub

Hi guys I am going to drill my tank what size bulkheads should I get ?also what do u guys recommend for the return?
 
No the hole you drill will have to be smaller for the 3/4". Google 1" bulkhead size and 3/4 bulkhead size and see how big of a bit you need

So trying to visualize it would the the 2x drains have pic elbows attached to the inside of the overflow box ? Thank you for your patience
 
do you have an internal or external overflow box or are you just plumbing directly off the back (or side) of the tank?
 
I was going directly from the back because I think the bottom is tempered , although I'm not sure? First ever attempt at doing this
 
okay...as long as you are installing an overflow box then the Herbie can be used....and I agree with the 1" drains and 3/4" return sizes
 
I have 2 1 inch drains for a herbie on my 40. And 1 3/4 inch return. I got my drill bits, bulkheads, overflow box, and drill guide from BRS.
