has anyone ever made there own protien skimer? i made one out of a absolute bottle and it works great.

I've made two air driven skimmers out of pvc pipe that are about five feet tall, used them for several years and they did a great job. Not hard to build at all. They didn't have to be that big but they were in the basement so I figured why not?
