Hey everybody so I've had this running for a while and collecting corals for the 125g when its finally ready.

Display is 24x16x12 with a glass-holes super nano with teeth overflow. Sump is just a 20L with a Reef Octopus NWB-110 skimmer some live rock chaeto and a quiet one 1200 return pump. Have a MP10 in the display and a chinese led light from ebay. Have some sps in there and this is the first time I've had even the slightest success with them. Here's some pics let me know what you guys think.

They're looking very good! The sps are all showing really good polyp extension and the color is excellent!

Thank you sooooo much Dom. You have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Also I am going to start topping off with kalkwasser instead of just ro/di to help replenish some cal, alk and keep my ph up.

Not a bad idea. I was thinking of doing the same thing. Just read up as much as you can regarding the kalk. I started reading up on it and ended up getting a chinese triple dosing unit instead. You just need to be careful about how much is dosed and how it affects your parameters.

But yeah, the corals are looking really good!

Yeah I read the max is 2 tbsp per gallon of top off water I'll probably start at like 1/2tbsp and see how that affects my parameters and adjust if necessary.

Brandon, glad to see that those sticks from yesterday are doing well for you, and WOW do they look happy in your tank! Something tells me that you'll have them all for a loooonnggg time. :)

Yes thank you ben most of the sps are from you. And I am really happy they are doing well. In the past I've been basically the grim reaper of sps. Lol. It is very fulfillng to even have this miniscule success so far.

I know the sps woes also. I think it takes time and patience in understanding of what you are doing before the success comes. Looks great congrats
