I agree. From my limited experience with just watching my tanks over the years, I think puffers and triggers are a notch above in terms of intelligence. They seem to really think about what they're doing and they also seem to be very curious. At the opposite end of the spectrum, you have the clownfish.

well ... clownfish are funny and i always thought they are dumb ..

but the other day i see them stealing food from my chalices and spit it out into the frogspawn they live in ( and frogspawn consumes it) makes me wonder if they are really dumb at all .. they re feeding and growing their home technically ..

i dare say these fish even clownfish are smarter than some of us humans haha ( puffers for sure are smarter than many of us i think)

Idk, my clownfish are pretty dumb. My BTA moved to the rock next to where it was and they still can't find it. They are just hovering over the old location of the nem
