Spearfishing

Hey y'all. I've been searching for a lake that has clear water to try out my speargun in. Does anyone know of any? Do any of you spearfish?

Not sure about licensing for spear fishing in Wisconsin but Devil's lake in Baraboo is very clear. Saw scuba divers there on several occasions.
Only 144 days till summer begins!

I've spearfished in Louisiana, compared to there, not many places you could really do it here. Closest I can think of it is maybe a lake with lots of Lily Pads, but all the ones I know are private....
