it took about a month from start to finish. i ran an airline in the walls going to the attic to get fresh outside air for the protein skimmer. the 5 stage ro/di line is also in the wall from the basement. and the system has its own 20 amp designated circuit.

So lucky with the designated outlet. I want to do that for my build

the power outlet to the bottom left of the ladder went bye bye, its just drywall now behind the sump. the new outlet is to the right of the new bifold door with 4 outlets. i also had to get rid of the light switch above the ladder.

making the c2c was fun:

i put the tank on its side and taped a string from corner to corner to get the right length and 2" away from the back pane on center. using a 2 axis cnc machine that i made using a rotorzip to cut the slots. a heat gun and a bending press made out of a 2x4 was used to bend the 1/4" abs plastic in three spots and its capable of handling 2000 gallons according to my overflow slot calculator.

the only hole in the tank is for a 2" bulkhead top center on the back pane. ran the (main and recirc) pump lines over the top of the tank on the sides to the front of the tank. the 2 wp25 on the back wall gives it a really sleek look.

par ratings are 400 at highest rock summit, 200 on the sand. the 250w hexarc 14k is bluer and has more par than any 250w 20k bulbs ive tried.

parameters:

salt 1.026
temp 80
Ca 450
dKH 7
Mg 1400
pH 8.3 day 8.2 night
PO4, Si, NO2, NH 3,4 all read 0

daily consumption rates:

Ca 29 ppm
dKH 2.1 ppm
Mg 2 ppm
