Sps dosing

You just need to keep testing your water and see after how many days your levels go down. If it doesn't go down much before your water change, then you don't really need to dose. It starts to go down faster the more corals you have.

My alk goes down faster then my calcium so I dose alk everyday and calcium once a week. Mag stays relatively stable so I have never had to dose that.

When you are first starting SPS, you won't need to dose much. But be careful, when they reach good size the demand will spike quickly. I'd recommend buying the Hannah checkers for Ca and Alk as they are a quick, easy, and very accurate way to test frequently.
