Strange SPS growth formation

I just wanted to share some strange growth that has occurred on my thin branched SPS. I'm not sure of the name; some type of dragon with purple skin and yellow tips. There are several branches that have grown considerably and the next branch has minimal growth. I just thought it was strange and wanted to know if others have seen this is their fragile, thin branched corals. Red Dragon is above, and looks thick branched by comparison. Sorry for the iPhone pics, I'm no photographer.

yeah, considering RD branches are thin and fragile, wow. Very interesting peice. Did you get if from a deaer or a a frag from someone? Curious what the mother looked like.
