ok im wondering something. i want to do something cool while i have the space and extra money. i have a stock tank i think its 90 gals. its short and has a lot of room. how hard would it be to put a stingray in it? i mean filtration and what else would it need? I actually have two of them and could build a stand and have one on the bottom for the sump i want to do this guys. help me out. what would i need. my wife would love this me too.

its four feet by 2 feet by like 1.5 feet maybe. ill have to get the exact measurements. i would love to pick up a blue spot. man im doing this. maybe i can find a bigger stock tank. this would be perfect though. then i can feed them they will have sercurity and a soft bottom under the sand i would provide.

I have been doing a lot of research on this myself (possible new build :D) I have read and contacted many people, and one thing I have seen repeatedly is that it is good to have the depth of the tank bigger than the length the ray will get up to as an adult. So, lets say the ray gets to 3 feet in length at full size, the tank should be a bit deeper so it can turn around with no problem.
Now for the length of the tank, longer is obviously better.
Hope this helps!

Sweet. But I gotta get the tank going first. I could probably plumb it right off the sump on my display. Man. I need a bigger skimmer

I'm not familiar with saltwater rays. I have kept freshwater rays for yrs. I personally would go bigger than 90 though.
