sun coral

so I got a colony of sun polyps from reef wise for father's day. it had a few spots where the flesh was gone but I trusted they wouldn't sell me dying coral. well since than some spots have been healing some new small spots. so my question is should I frag off the healthy parts. even where the flesh is gone all the way around they still open except one cup. what to do?

I would leave it alone until it looked completely healthy. If it is thriving the bare spots will be covered later. I wouldn't want to stress it out.

I was built a tank to get into a sun coral nano jam but never got the corals I would love a sun coral
