Sunscreen Killing Coral Reefs

That article got me thinking. Accurate or not, I won't be putting my hands or arms in my tank after I've used suntan lotion on the beach or the golf course.

It would be interesting if people can correlate coral deaths after using suntan lotion and putting their hands in the tank.
 
I alway wash hands. Toxins like perfume or crap from working on cars ect . I thought it was common sense .
I use dawn dish soap and try to keep arm pits out where deodorant may be .

John, good point about it being common sense but I'm not so sure people do wash before messing with their tanks.
 
I went to cancun recently and did some snorkeling. Prior to each trip out they would specifically instruct everyone to not use sunscreen or to use a brand that was labeled as environmentally friendly
