sweeper tentacles

anyone else fine sweeper tentacles horrifying (not literally)?
i mean you have a really pretty, colorful, peaceful coral just sitting there knowing how great it looks....

then BAM,

all of the sudden these weird, almost clear, horrible little arms shoot out of it all over the place making it look like a completely different, almost alien even, animal.

meh, just my random thought of the day.

That's what's so cool about them! Harmless beautiful happy coral... NOT!!!

I like the "alien" transformation! My "Candy Canes" look really cool when theirs are extended.

I have a brain that is beautiful and sits there but I swear it has like 2"+ sweepers when it takes them out! I can't put anything too close!

The longest sweepers I have is my glaxia by far. That thing can be up to 4" long. Ill take pictures next time if I can catch them
