switching from tap to ro/di

I know I should have done this from the start but I injured my neck and just couldn't haul the water so I got lazy. I am back in the game and am picking up a unit on Friday. I'm going to plumb it to to top off and everything. NO MORE TAP WATER. My tank is actually decent and my params are good. My question is (75 gallon reef ready) should I be thinking of a HUGE water change ? Like has anyone ever changed ALL there water?

Do you have any algae issues? I would probably just stick with your regular water change routine, eventually all the old water will be replaced...

I get small amounts on the glass but nothing major. I think my fuge keeps it in check

+2 Mark. Normal routine water changes will eventually dilute all the old water out.

Thanks guys and I know nothing good happens fast but it's one of those things were I just feel like I will be diluting the bad water forever

I think Elk Grove is Lake Michigan water not the well stuff you get with all the fun nutrient issues...correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, you should be fine with regular water changes.
