tank dilema

Ok so I have moved and my tank is still at my moms house. I want a new stand before I move it over so i was going to have matt from shotank build one (waiting on quote still) and was going to have AP move the tank.

Then i noticed he has a tank/stand combo of the same tank for 569.95, I did a durso style overflow (1.5in drain) in my current tank but it can be loud so I was thinking about ordering the combo and have him drill it with overflow for herbie style. Then setting up the new tank at the apartment with new sand/rock letting it cycle and moving the livestock over myself, selling off the old live rock, tank and stand.

estimated prices:
option 1 (new stand, AP moving tank) $600-800
option 2 (new tank, stand, me moving livestock, selling old LR/tank/stand) -$500-$700

I'm not comfortable moving the tank myself for the safety of the livestock, for me to do it I would setup multiple holding tanks/systems to hold all the rock/coral/fish and it would get pricey.

Suggestions and Opinions appreciated!

I'd go option #2...It's not difficult at all to move a tank. Plus, since you'll be buying a new tank and setting it up before breaking down the old tank, it'll be even easier.

that is what i was thinking too, initial cost will be higher than option 1 but option 2 will make some money back. I have no problem moving livestock to an established tank, i just worry about moving livestock and tank in 1 day. I thought about going to a 6ft tank if I go option 2 but that would add more because i would need a canopy for it too while i already have a canopy and I think a 5ft tank is big enough for now.

I think I've decided on what I am going to do.

Going to downsize a little and go with a 4ft rr tank.

Why the downsize?

5ft 120's don't come pre drilled. Have to do back or side drilling then the tank sits off the wall a couple inches and Is an eye sore to me.

So thinking a 75/90/120 4ft RR tank that is bottom drilled.

New dilemma, need to find a stand to fit a eshopps r-200 and a sca 302 skimmer.

Reef ready with built in overflows is the only tank I will ever use.
I'm not playing the drill game or hanging stuff over the edges.
That's just me.

You could build your own stand to maximize clearance inside the stand for your sump, and make it a custom height.
