Tank2379 Frag Tank build

OK back in November I wanted to start another Frag Tank. So I called up my Anthony at Nano Sea creations to build me a 36"X24"X12". The price was right for a custom tank that size some others wanted well over $500 plus with freight which I thought was pretty steap. I wanted this to be Rimless so I have to go with 3/4" Thick Acrylic. I build my own stand and made my own doors not professional but it worked out pretty good. Anyhow I got some pictures to share

Went to HD and got some 2X4's

Sweet tank! Anthony does build some great stuff. He built my sump, and i couldn't be happier. Once i get my house, I'll have to get in touch with him for a frag tank

So how are you liking the maxspect razor? BTW tank is looking good

I like it alot, when I first got it I was excited to get it fired up. I was using the legs that came with it but some of the light spread was not getting the corners since my tank was a 36"X24"X12". I raised it off the top about 16 inches or so from the water line. I ended up added some T-5's to give it a little extra Pop with color.

I felt that this unit was lacking UV and some of my Zoa' where turning dull with color could be becasue I had it so high off the water line, in any case I am running the T-5's and with the whole system it's running very well. I might take the T-5's off one day just to see if it was just my eyes playing tricks on me, but for now I will keep the T-5's on casue they bring a little bit more Pop to the coloration on my corals. Also I am running my LEDS at 100% blues and 80% whites
