Tanked

This whole thing is almost a year old....I've seen one tanked tank (phone booth) on ebay. I don't know that would be characterized as often...old news.
 
Did it say that the ATM guys killed all of the fish in the tanks for sale on eBay?


I guess people really want to be on tv to spend a small fortune for a tank to only sell it a few weeks later since the fish passed away.


I guess I should sell my tanks as I have screwed up and killed many fish when I first started.


It's a tv show it's made for a general audience. I don't see anyone else on my tv trying to bring awareness to this wonderful hobby.


I'm not trying to argue or pick a side, I just feel these guys get blasted for everything because of tv editing.

People don't want to blame themselves so they blame the company that provided them the product.

I'm interested to know which tanks were up for sale that quickly.

Do you have any links or anything where I can see them for sale?

You forget I was a long time on the WetWebMedia Crew & a good friend of Bob Fenner's? Many of those Crew members have had to work on saving these tanks. Go ahead & defend these money grubbing losers--I will not!
 
What messes specifically did they have to clean up? If you watch the show closely a very high proportion of the tanks are already paired with local LFS/maintenance companies. Just wondering what messes in fish only tanks were so great that those companies couldn't handle them.

Yes, she works for one of those maintenance companies. Fish dying in those tanks all the time, they do their best to save them but the tanks are designed so poorly. Of the upright Rocket Ship tank with many tangs inside: "imagine if they did the bottle on it's side like the way wine is stored. That would of been 10 FEET of swimming space, 10 FEET of surface space AND one could actually maintain the tank."

These guys are fakes and phonies. Also there's the wine/liquor shop the tanks they have never have looked good but I see they had someone clean up the tanks for the show. I'm rather upset to see such negligence in care and concern of these fishes well-being. Marine ick is no joke."

Interesting. It seems that the Tanked guys get a very different response when try attend shoes like MACNA, hobbyists and experts seem to love them when they talk to them and ignore the extremely compressed and edited timeline of the show.

I watch it, it's entertaining. I do believe "Fish Tank Kings" is a better show with slightly more value to it. There are a couple guys on RC that have worked with that crew.

I love tanked there hilarious. They make asome tanks but woupdnt let them stock it thats for sure. Another issue is its all for tv and the customers dont know chiy about tanks and ask for the stupidest designs. But when they get a normal build they di a awsome job with the makeing of the tank again tgere fish skills aint the best . But very entertaining specially redneck
