We've all been there. You're at the LFS just looking around and you see "it"; a fish that has obviously seen better days and needs to be saved.

The Pet Supplies Plus near me has FW and SW livestock and usually the prices are competitive. They have a Blue Tang that is maybe 2.5" and it looks a mess. The colors were faded in a few areas, the fins had been nipped on and it was scratching occasionally against the rocks. $32. I actually was thinking about buying it. Unfortunately that just starts the cycle of the store getting more SW fish and enthusiasts buying them to save them. I do feel bad for it though.

Best thing is boycott. It's sad for the fish, but if a store makes a sell, it'll order more inventory....

dont buy it man. it can kill your tank if not properly quarantines and you encourage the shop to keep selling sick fish.
