i'll be doing mostly anemones with a pair of skunk clowns with some lps

If you are just doing BTAs you might want to unplug a couple of the white LED strips (2 of them). My BTA was BLASTED in that tank and hung out all the way at the bottom of the rock and never really fully inflated. That might also even out the white/blue color for you as well.

and croooooosspost from the "other" place:

Jep, they are awesome tanks but they do need a lot of color supplementation to look decent. Plus side is, there is enough light to grow anything you want anywhere you want, but too much light up top for some things.

When I had mine it ran with a single Tunze 6015 centered between the returns, right under the overflow. I ran some LED strips stuck to the reflector underneath the glass shield to supplement color. Two were all blue and two were Magenta/Blue. It ended up looking pretty good and was extremely easy to care for. Whatever diodes they used didn't seem to grow any algae at all, even with water changes 3 months apart at times in a heavy stocked (6 fish) nano cube.

Let me know if you have any questions, I ran mine for a little over a year but have also run plenty of other nano cubes. I'm sure it'll look great though!

Jep, good to have you back brotha! I have the same tank. Mine was the halide version but I took those out for LED's. I think you will be happy with it.

We have lift off :)

Placed my first two fishies and couple inverts in the tank and im lovin it :)

Also added a couple corals too
