another member here turned me on to this. I think it is cool enough to share. They already got their goal on kickstarter, but they have a few tons of slots left. I tend to think this tech will take off (I hate carrying keys)

i'm not kickstarter expert by any means, but who doesn't want to be able to say they had the first of something. Especially reefers :)

Looks like something good for a theif to steal u info with a hand shake maybe even start u car or for u fancy people with fancy locks on u houses open u door by turning the handle. Very cool i gotta get me one hmm wonder if it works through gloves .

Heh, exactly, I love the concept, and think its awesome technology! But...... I'm paranoid, and fear ever step we take that brings us closer and closer to a brave new world...... (Rip Mr. Huxley). and we have been taking so very many of them lately......

super limited as far as nfc goes, also i am pretty cautious about kickstarter projects in general there have been too many crash and burns especially on ones that get overfunded (this one is at 4x) and they just cant handle the demand.

meh, it's cool enough to risk it for me and they have good order limits in place to prevent the kickstarter overload. They also challenged anyone at DEFCON to try to hack a guy they had walking around. They even suggested ways to try it. I tend to believe NFC is going to become standard in our lives, so this will be a fun way to get on that wave (for me anyway).

true, but just wanted to put a warning out there in case people havent dealt with kickstarter before, I have backed a number of things being in electronics for my profession, I would say about half the thing I have backed ended up crashing or I am still waiting for hardware.
