Thought I'd post here - disappointed so far but hoping for better from the community

Hi. I am not on this board much. I had an 18 month losing battle to a weird strain of cladophoropsis. The stuff spread and spread in zero phosphate, zero nitrate water. Spread with lights out and tank covered for two weeks. Spread with triple-dose of algicide in the tank. Eventually, all corals covered.

I had to acid-etch the rock, drain and bleach the system, and start over.

As I know many people have received colony-sized "frags" from me, always free of charge, and always with a promise to help out if I ever need to recover anything, I am rather disappointed that, to date, nobody other than those who have subsequently left the hobby has responded to emails and PMs from me, either here or on the other board.
I don't even want to reacquire them all -- just 3 or 4 of my favorites.

People know who they are. Many have been selling frags of corals they got free from me. I'm just asking for chip-sized frags to get started again. If you have them, you have my cell and email information already.

Hope to hear from you.

This is my second experience like this. I had a lengthy "black list" after my 2009 fire. This could mark the end of PIF for me, if people continue to not pay-it-backwards. Hoping things turn around.

What buttholes!!!!! If I had a frag or 7 I'd help a salty out! Sadly I don't.

Mai: it's true, and I will stop by after my trip! I think you said you had one.

I want that yellow tipped one that was in the center! And the green with pink tips one.

I will post pics in a couple weeks. Thanks guys. Hoping to get past recipients to help out, as I think that process is so important -- preserve corals we love, and take fewer out of the badly-compromised wild reefs.

Joel, I don't have any SPS anymore, but I have a small Duncan colony you can have and a BTA you can have if you are stocking with that type of thing.

I don't think i've ever gotten anything from you, but what exactly are you looking for? Maybe I can help out.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I don't keep any sticks but if there's any ZnPs or LPS you're looking for LMK.

I had to take in completely down and bleach about 800lbs LR as the pocillipora and manjoes were taking over everything.
I have had system up now since Oct of 2013 and corals in it since middle of last year.

Here are pictures as of today. These taken quickly with Iphone sop not as good.
