What are ur guys thoughts on have a biocube 29 with a back wall filled with mushroom corals.. like different kinds.. Good or bad idea?

Thanks jeff

I was/am considering this for my 12G...kinda wondering what people's thoughts are and if anybody on here has done it and has pics?!

I saw a tank that had a couple on the wall and i thought it would be cool to have it all over.. we'll see what ppl say bro..lol

No. They just started growing there. I have had this nano for 12 years so the entire back wall is completele encrusted with corraline algae

I wanted to see how it'll go if i glue a mushroom in the back and see if it'll grow and spread out.. hmm .lol

I don't know about mushrooms, that could look kind of weird as a background (although I have never seen it). I have seen GSP backgrounds (like fastrc) and Xenia backgrounds that looked really nice though!

I was thnking something like a hairy mushroom background.. make it look like a sea of them on the wall? What is ur thoughts skullV?

Again, I have never seen anything like that, but I'm sure if done right and the wall is completely covered it would look just fine! It definitely can't hurt to try.

Good luck glueing them on! Shrooms and Xenia are the hardest things to glue imo. You need to put a rock leaning on the back with the shrooms and wait for them to spread to the wall. Thats how I'm doing my Xenia. Or cut off rubble were the shroom is attached and glue that and hopefully they'll start spreading. You also run your luck of the actual shrooms spreading. Yea some spread like crazy but some just won't. I've had some were they just start splitting and multiplying ans some forever that have never done it.
