Tiny white snails

I noticed there are a few of these guys in my tank. Any idea what they are? Good/bad?

Yep. When I first read the title of your post I was thinking Pyramid snail, which are no good, but it's definitely not one of those.

It's surprising because I don't have any snails with that type of shell. Unless the change changes shape as they grow. I also dip all of my corals before I put them in my tank.

Check out the collonista snail. I can't tell from the picture but I'm guessing it is.

I think you are right. I hope they don't get out of control..

That's good news! I've had them in all my tanks. Their population seems to be self limiting to the available food... just like stomatella snails. They are actually a great addition to your snail grazing CUC. Only problem i've experienced with them in the last 10 years of them being my tanks is occasionally getting stuck in my pump impellers.

They really only come out after lights out and hide all day. You can have hundreds in your tank and will only see them after dark. Good hitchhiker imo.
